Garden of Hope and Faith Walk
History and Purpose
Located on the grounds of Centennial Road Church, and funded entirely by an anonymous donor, the garden is approximately one acre in size and replicates the original Garden of Hope in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Visitors can enjoy the quiet environment while surrounded by the beautiful ponds, waterfall, rocks, flowers and statues of Jesus. 17 Gardens of Hope exist in the United States and one in Romania. The garden at Centennial Road Church is the only one located in Canada. The goal of this garden and faith walk is to be a place of reflection and healing, comfort and joy, and meditation for everyone in the community and visitors from afar.
Hours of operation
The garden is open daily to the public. In addition, the Amphitheater and Garden are available for weddings and social gatherings, or as a unique location for small group meetings and musical functions. You can also arrange for a guided tour of the Garden by calling the church office at 613-345-3424.
Commemorative Plaques
Engraved bronze plaques are being placed throughout the Garden by patrons and Friends of the Garden. This may be done in memory of a loved one, or as an expression of faith. The proceeds from the sale of these plaques go to the Garden Perpetual Care fund. A variety of sizes are available.
This garden is funded by the generous donations and bequests given through Garden patrons and community supporters. If you are interested in finding out more or making a donation, please contact the church office at 613-345-3424 or visit www.gardenofhopeandfaithwalk.com
