Next Steps at Centennial Road Church
A PLACE FOR YOU TO BELONG
We look forward to getting to know you and your family as we follow God’s purposes for developing relationships. We’ll strive to make the most of every opportunity to help you choose Christ and belong to the church family. Because God is love, he treasures relationships. At Centennial Road, we want to welcome you into our church family and get to know you better. On a regular basis we hold an event called “Coffee with the Pastor”. This is a chance for people to meet our Pastoral team, who will explain what we believe and what we’re all about, and ways to become connected at Centennial Road. Whether you’re looking to take your first step in a relationship with Jesus Christ, get baptized, or get plugged into a small group, our team is here to offer you guidance and support. If you are looking for ways to belong CLICK HERE and a member of our team will connect with you.
“God’s unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave him great pleasure” (Ephesians 1:5 NLT).
GROWING IN CHRIST
Spiritual growth is not so much about "doing" as it is about "becoming" – becoming more like Christ. It's a life-long adventure that takes patience, commitment, and intentional focus. It's not what we do along the way that is most important. What really matters is who we are becoming in the process. Ultimately, the Christian life is about building an intimate relationship with Jesus as the Holy Spirit changes us from the inside out, and loving others the way Jesus loves us.
Community is essential to spiritual growth. Community builds you up and adds the element of accountability to your spiritual life. Without a group of friends that share some common goals, it is easy to get discouraged and veer off course in your relationship with God. But, a supportive small group will walk with you during the natural difficulties of life. It is in these smaller environments that we have opportunities to share, listen, and encourage one another in our faith. If you are looking for ways to grow CLICK HERE and a member of our team will connect with you.
SERVING IN MINISTRY
Jesus turned the world upside down through his actions and words. Although it may sound surprising, the fastest way to achieve significance is through serving others. Many of the people at Centennial Road Church have discovered a significance that can only come through serving in a ministry. You were created by God for significance. That comes from serving. You can make a real difference in someone’s life; your potential is our passion!
We can’t do ministry without your help. We need many people to commit to serving on a ministry team. Maybe now is the time for you to take your faith to the next level. We encourage you to prayerfully consider serving in a ministry.
You’re never more like Jesus than when you’re serving others in his name. Here are some options to consider. If you’re interested in serving in a ministry please contact the church office at 613-345-3424 or CLICK HERE and a member of our team will connect with you.
